North Vancouver Roofing FAQ
Roof replacement cost depends on the size of the roof, the material being used, how steep or complex the roof is, and whether any damaged wood or other repairs are needed underneath. The best way to get an accurate number is to have the roof looked at and quoted based on the actual condition of the home.
Roof repair cost can vary a lot depending on the problem. A small repair is very different from a leak that has already caused damage to surrounding areas. The final cost usually depends on the type of roof, where the problem is, how easy it is to access, and how much work is needed to fix it properly.
If the problem is small and limited to one area, a repair may be enough. If the roof is older, has multiple problem spots, or is wearing out across the whole surface, replacement may make more sense.
A proper diagnostic/inspection from one of our technicians will help figure out which option is the better long-term move.
Yes, many roof leaks can be repaired once the source of the problem is found. Leaks often come from damaged shingles, worn flashing, roof penetrations, or areas where water is getting in around weak spots. The most important part is finding the real source, not just patching where the water shows up inside.
